Wild About Fish (Creator Spotlight)

Seemingly as with the tides, the amount of quality fish contents ebbs and flows. So from time to time, I’m going to highlight a creator that’s putting out regular news and content I think you all might enjoy. Today we’re giving a shout out to the youtube channel Wild About Fish and their Strange and Interesting Fish series in particular.

I’ve been regularly watching this channel for about a year now. From what I’ve gleaned they are a fish biologist located in Utah who, like me, is enamored with native North American species. His videos tend to be on the shorter side, providing interesting and well researched facts about the topics without getting too bogged down in the nerd stuff. I never feel like the time I spent watching their video was wasted and easily bingable when you want it to be.

For the past few months they’ve been covering Strange and Interesting Fish of North America and I’ve been eating it up! I find most creators talk about the same old things everybody else does, but I always learn a few new things with Wild About Fish. I especially like his maps showing the geographical range a species covers. So, hats off to Wild About Fish! Keep doing what you’re doing!
